Get to know the team at Weston Veterinary Hospital

Weston Veterinary Hospital first opened in 2005. We are a small general practice animal hospital providing complete preventive care, dental care, and high quality medical and surgical treatment for companion dogs and cats.


Our hospital strives to provide the best veterinary medical and surgical care for our patients and personal service to our clients. Our goal is to improve pet health and longevity, and to treat your pet with the same compassion that we would if the pet were our own.

Dr. Kristin Raymond

Dr. Kristin Raymond, DVM joined Weston Veterinary Hospital in the fall of 2021. She grew up in Wausau, WI with her family. She earned a bachelor of science degree from UW-Madison in 2010. While attending school there, she found a new interest and appreciation for farm animals and agriculture. After undergrad, she worked in Texas on white-tailed deer ranches. She then attended Iowa State University, where she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. After veterinary school, she worked at a mixed animal veterinary clinic, where she practiced dairy and small animal medicine. In 2020, she attended Chi University in Reddick, FL and completed the small animal acupuncture course. She enjoys wellness exam appointments, surgery, and educating clients on preventative medicine. She has a special interest in integrative medicine and aims to offer alternative therapies for her patients and their owners when appropriate. After work hours, she enjoys spending time with her husband Brian and his kids, tending their garden and caring for their two dogs, Chonk and Pickle; cat, Meatloaf; and a small flock of chickens.

Dr. Tom Jatnieks

Dr. Tom Jatnieks grew up in Rothschild, Wisconsin. After graduating from D.C. Everest, he spent three years in the U.S. Army. He got his bachelor's degree from UW-Eau Claire and then graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. He practiced in Amherst, WI for 3 years and in Plover, WI for 5 years before coming to Weston. He has two children and enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, and planting in his back yard.

Stephanie

Stephanie is a Certified Veterinary Technician with over 20 years' experience in the field. She enjoys working in Surgery and Dentistry and is committed to helping her patients have a safe and stress-free surgery experience. Stephanie helped in starting the Weston Veterinary Hospital in 2005 and has been living in and enjoying the area ever since. In her free time, she enjoys time with her friends, her horse "Ruby" and her cat family.

Danielle

Danielle attended the Veterinary Assisting program through Blue Pearl Fox Valley Animal Referral Hospital obtaining her Veterinary Assistant Certificate. In 2015 she joined Weston Veterinary Hospital. 

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 kids,her dog Midge and cat Pancake. She loves being outdoors, gardening, walking, and camping.

Holli

Holli graduated from Madison College in 2018 where she obtained a degree in Veterinary Technology and took her VTNE to receive her Certified Veterinary Technician License. She joined Weston Veterinary Hospital and has been with us ever since. 

She spends her time off of work chasing her son Nolan, with her spouse Matt. And if she can be, she will be found basking in the hot sun with her toes in the water. She has a full house with 3 kitties and a dog named Gyda.

Melissa

Melissa graduated from UW-Madison in 2020 with a bachelors degree in Animal Science. She joined Weston Veterinary Hospital in spring of 2022. She has 2 dogs, Pepper & Winnie, and one cat, Sadie Mae. When she isn't at work, Melissa enjoys spending time outdoors, watching movies, playing video games, and hanging out with friends.

Stephanie Sigmund

Ambrea

Ambrea attended Howard University in Washington DC where she studied Biology and Social Sciences. After school she  moved to the Wausau area in 2018 where he held multiple lab positions. In November of 2023 her love for animals brought her to Weston Veterinary Hospital. When she is not working in the clinic she enjoys spending time with her dog, Simba and cat Pikachu, playing video games, painting, traveling, and shopping.
